Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Wish I Could Read Again for the First Time

It’s barely Tuesday anymore, but Happy Tuesday anyway! Two weeks in a row!

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly post currently hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. It celebrates lovely lists, wonderful books and the bookish community. This week’s topic is Books I Wish I Could Read Again for the First Time.

Anyway, without further ado, let’s get started! In no particular order, here comes my list!

  1. Among the Beasts and Briars by Ashley Poston: One of my favorite books ever. A fantastic fall read – it had all the right vibes. It was one of the best things I read in 2020.
  2. A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab: Another one of my favorite books ever. I was so jittery with excitement when I was reading it. I actually read this one in the late fall as well, as well as 2020.
  3. Piranesi by Susanna Clarke: One of my newer favorite books – I read this last year in 2024. I loved the experience of reading it for the first time – the unique way it was written, the unreliable narrator, the clues for what’s actually going on laid out for the reader. It’s wonderful.
  4. The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness: I’m always singing the praises of Chaos Walking – I just love this trilogy. I first read this series way back in 2010.
  5. The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima: I adore the Seven Realms Series, and I haven’t been shy about it. Honestly, I wish I could experience this series again for the first time, it was so good. One of the highlights of 2015 for me.
  6. This Monstrous Thing by Mackenzi Lee: An awesome Frankenstein retelling. Another book I read in 2015.
  7. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak: I’m just about positive that I read this in 2009. A great read.
  8. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee: One of my favorite books ever, and one of my oldest ones at that. I read this in 2010. Such a classic.
  9. The Other by Thomas Tryon: Another one of my oldest favorite novels. It’s pretty obscure nowadays, but no less great. I read it back in 2009.
  10. A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens: A classic that I was looking forward to reading for a long while by the time I actually read it. This was back in 2009, around Christmas. I used to love watching different adaptations of this book, and honestly I still like them, though I haven’t seen one in years.

What are your favorite books? Which books do you wish you could read for the first time?

As always, thanks so much for reading, and I hope that you have an amazing day/night!

Weekly Wrap-Up: 10/6 – 10/12

Hey everyone! It’s time for another Weekly Wrap-Up. I know I’m a bit late this week, but real life is still rough right now, so I’m just taking everything day by day.

Last week was fantastic for me – both in regards to blogging and books. I’m really happy with it all. I was able to get out the post that I most wanted to, and I read more than one novel.

Anyway, without further ado, let’s get on with the Weekly Wrap-Up!

Tuesday 10/7: Top Ten Tuesday

Last Tuesday, I participated in Top Ten Tuesday. It’s been almost two months since I last participated in this, what with everything going on, so I was eager to get back into it.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly post currently hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. It celebrates lovely lists, wonderful books and the bookish community. The prompt for last week was Satisfying Book Series.

Wednesday 10/8: Can’t-Wait Wednesday

On Wednesday, I did another Can’t-Wait Wednesday. Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme currently hosted by Tressa @ Wishful Endings. It focuses on books you’re looking forward to reading, usually new releases.

Sunday 10/12: September Reading 2025

Last Sunday, I posted my Monthly Reading Wrap-Up for September 2025. And it was posted at a reasonable time of the month this time! For those who don’t know, monthly wrap-ups are when I go over the books I read over the past month, as well as my stats over on The StoryGraph.

Books I Read Last Week

Wrapping It All Up

So yeah, last week was pretty good in terms of blog activity and the novel reading that I did. I’m hoping that this week will, at the very least, be almost as good, but you never know. And with how stuff beyond books and blogging is still pretty rough, I’m going to continue taking it day by day.

This week I want to finally start reading The Ashfire King by Chelsea Abdullah. I also want to do at least three other blog posts besides this one, one of them being a book review. And then I’ll go from there after that.

Not much else to say about anything aside from that. I’m gonna probably clean the house this week, and there’s still a lot going on in my personal life, but that’s it. Oh, and I guess my spouse and I are still trying to be healthier.

Anyway, as always thank you for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful day/night! As well as a much better week than I’ve been having!

Monthly Wrap-Up: September Reading 2025

It’s a bit later than I wanted to post this, but it’s also way earlier than last month, so I’ll take it. But yeah, here comes my reading wrap-up for September 2025!

My reading for this part month was basically the same as it was in August. It was also kind of bad. But my reading in general for most of this year has sucked, so yeah.

Anyway, let’s just start talking about my StoryGraph statistics from last month!

September Reading 2025

I read 1 book and 608 pages

😐 MOODS: I had three Moods in September, which is the same as the month before. The Moods from this past month were also the same as the month before: AdventurousLighthearted and Funny.

👢 PACE: The book I read last month was slow-paced.

🔢 PAGE NUMBER: The graphic novel I read last month was 608 pages.

📖 FICTION/NONFICTION: It was once again all fiction. As usual.

🎭 GENRES: There were two Genres on the graph this month. They were Fantasy and Manga.

📄 FORMAT: This pie chart was once again correct. Six straight months. That’s half a year. Yay.

⭐ RATING: My median star rating for last month was 4.0, which makes sense as I only read one book and that was the rating I gave it.

📉 PAGES READ DAILY: My reading once again sucked in September. I only read during the middle of the night, and it’s also where much prai of the month is.

Wrapping Up the Wrap-Up

So yeah, last month was kind of just the latest month this year so far wherein my reading was not great. I’d say I hope October is better, but it’s already started and it actually is better because I’ve already read two books!

This month I’ve already read A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro and What Stalks the Deep by T. Kingfisher. Next, I’m planning on finally reading The Ashfire King by Chelsea Abdullah. Then, I’ll probably get back into the Dresden Files, and after that, One Piece.

Anyway, as always, thank you for joining me in checking out my StoryGraph stats for my September reading in 2025. Thank you also for reading, and I hope you have a great day/night!

Can’t-Wait Wednesday: The Works of Vermin

Hey, it’s been a while. But Happy Wednesday!

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Tressa @ Wishful Endings (and was previously hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine where it was known as Waiting on Wednesday) to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. They’re usually books that have not yet been released.

This week’s book is:

The Works of Vermin by Hiron Ennes! 🪱🏹

The Works of Vermin by Hiron Ennes

The Works of Vermin by Hiron Ennes

LENGTH: 430 pages

GENRES: Fantasy, Fiction

PUBLISHER: Tor Books

RELEASE DATE: 14 October 2025

BOOK DESCRIPTION:

He was sent to kill a pest. Instead, he found a monster.

Enter the decadent, deadly city of Tiliard, a metropolis carved into the stump of an ancient tree. In its canopy, the pampered elite warp minds with toxic perfume; in its roots, gangs of exterminators hunt a colossal worm with an appetite for beauty.

In this complex, chaotic city, Guy Moulène has a simple goal: keep his sister out of debt. For her sake, he’ll take on any job, no matter how vile.

As an exterminator, Guy hunts the uncanny pests that crawl up from the river. These vermin are all strange, and often dangerous. His latest quarry is different: a worm the size of a dragon with a deadly venom and a ravenous taste for artwork. As it digests Tiliard from the sewers to the opera houses, its toxin reshapes the future of the city. No sane person would hunt it, if they had the choice.

Guy doesn’t have a choice.

Are you looking forward to The Works of Vermin? What other books are coming out in the next few weeks that you’re looking forward to?

As always, thank you all so much for reading and have a fantastic day/night!

Weekly Wrap-Up: 9/29 – 10/5

It’s the start of a new week, which means it’s time to wrap up the last one. And look – I’m on time this week!

Last week was still a bit rough for me, particularly during the first half. And it’s also why I didn’t post at all until Thursday. There’s just been some stuff going on outside the blogging part of my life that’s been hard on me, which is why updates aren’t what they could be. I’m hoping that will change coming up, but it’s more of a wait-and-see what happens kind of thing.

Anyway, without further ado, let’s get on with the Weekly Wrap-Up!

Friday 10/3: The Most Interesting Looking New Books of October 2025

Last Friday, I posted a list of the books that I’m looking forward to this month. Or, at least the ones that I think look the most interesting. It was the Most Interesting Looking New Books of October 2025. As always, it’s basically only fantasy and science fiction, as those are the two genres I primarily read. This time there were only three books that looked interesting to me, which isn’t what I had last month, but it was still something!

Sunday 10/5: Bewitching Book Covers

Yesterday, I posted another Bewitching Book Covers for the first time in two months. Wow, and I thought last time’s gap with this post was big.

Anyway, Bewitching Book Covers (formerly known as Majestic Mondays and Tasteful Tuesdays), is when I gush over a book cover that I like as well as analyze it (sometimes). I also typically give the book covers funny rating systems – not the usual blank out of five stars kind of thing.

Books I Read Last Week

Wrapping It All Up

So yeah, last week wasn’t the greatest in terms of blog activity, but it could’ve been worse. I’m also feeling better than I was early last week, and have finally started reading books again. So I’m very happy about that!

This week, I want to do a decent amount of posts. I want to do my monthly reading wrap-up for September 2025, participate in a couple of the usual posts that I usually engage in and definitely do at least one book review. I really want to get back in the groove of things in regards to books and blogging.

Concerning my reading of books, I finally started reading A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro. I’m not quite finished with it yet, but I’m hoping to do so by the end of tonight. Then, I’m planning on starting The Ashfire King by Chelsea Abdullah. It’s one of my most anticipated reads of 2025, and it’s almost a crime that I haven’t gotten around to reading it yet. So I want to rectify that as soon as I can. And then after that, I want to get back into the Dresden Files. And then after that, probably the next arc in One Piece. And maybe somewhere in between all that, I might possibly read a new release – like something that came out within the last few weeks to the last couple of months.

Regarding stuff outside of books and blogging, this past weekend I finally started switching and putting out our Halloween decorations. I don’t switch out the fall decor that much really – I just add to it and complement the autumn decorations with Halloween stuff for a month. Usually I’m a bit more on top of things, but the last month and a half has been a lot – I was late with getting the fall stuff out too, when I swapped out all of the summer stuff for autumn last month.

My spouse and I are still working on being healthy. It took a little bit of a dive for a few weeks with everything going on in real life beyond the blog, but we’re trying to get back into it.

Anyway, as always thank you for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful day/night! As well as a much better week than I’ve been having!

Bewitching Book Covers: Hemlock & Silver

I can’t believe it’s been over two months since I last did this post. Oh well, it can’t be helped, I guess. Anyway, let’s talk about another Bewitching Book Cover.

For anyone who doesn’t know, Bewitching Book Covers (formerly Tasteful Tuesdays, and before that, Majestic Mondays), is a series where I highlight an awesome looking book cover and talk about what I like about it. That’s it, that’s pretty much the point of this post.

This week, the book cover that I’m highlighting is Hemlock & Silver by T. Kingfisher! It’s one of her new novels that was released this year! It also has a gorgeous cover! (Also, I can’t believe I forgot to put What Stalks the Deep on my list of interesting new books coming out September 2025. Like seriously, I really liked the other two Sworn Soldier novellas!)

Hemlock & Silver by T. Kingfisher

Hemlock & Silver by T. Kingfisher

LENGTH: 368 pages

GENRES: Fantasy, Fiction

PUBLISHER: Tor Books

RELEASE DATE: 19 August 2025

BOOK DESCRIPTION:

From New York Times bestselling and Hugo Award-winning author T. Kingfisher comes Hemlock & Silver, a dark reimagining of “Snow White” steeped in poison, intrigue, and treason of the most magical kind

Healer Anja knows little of politics but much of poisons. When she is summoned to treat the mysterious illness afflicting the king’s daughter, she finds herself against the clock, desperate to track down the source of the poison killing Princess Snow. But the chance discovery of a strange alternate world inside a magic mirror leads Anja to darker discoveries, including what really happened to Snow’s dead sister, Rose, and why their mother seemingly went mad and cut out her heart.

Aided by a taciturn bodyguard, a narcissistic cat, and a late Renaissance understanding of the scientific method, Anja must navigate the mysteries of the mirror world before the dark queen that dwells within rises to threaten them all.

Book Cover Rating: 🍎🍎🍎🍎 • 4 definitely not poisoned apples

As I mentioned above, Hemlock & Silver has a beautiful cover. It’s a bit simple, but it definitely has a lot of charm – not to mention, it still stands out.

The background may be a matte black, but I see that as a strength for the book cover. It just makes everything else on it look more distinct. I love that there’s an apple front and center, as well, even if it is a bit on the nose. You can’t have a Snow White reimagining without an apple reference, after all! The apple being surrounded by (presumably) poisonous plants and flowers also further accentuates the reference of said apple. I also just love flowers – even if they’re both gorgeous and deadly at the same time!

The title’s font is simple, yet elegant. I love how it being ivory colored makes it really stand out against everything else on the book’s cover, as well as contrast starkly against the background. The font for the author’s name is also pretty eye-catching. It’s in all caps as well as in light gold. Not quite as prominently as the title, but then I wouldn’t want it to be. (I don’t really like it when the author’s name is significantly bigger than the title – I usually read a book based on its title, cover and description, after all. Not who wrote it. I’m usually more curious about the book itself.)

So yeah, here’s yet another beautiful book cover. What do you think about this cover art? Have you read Hemlock & Silver? If you have, what did you think of it?

Anyway, as always, thank you for reading, and I hope that you have an excellent day/night!

The Most Interesting Looking New Books of October 2025

Hey there everybody! Another month, another bunch of new books that are coming out! Yep, it’s The Most Intriguing New Books of October 2025. I know this is about a week later than I usually do it – I like to get it out by the first Tuesday of the month – but there was a lot going on last week, so I’m doing it now.

This used to be a quarterly post, but I’ve recently decided to do it monthly instead. Also, even though this post is about new releases, it’s primarily focused on fantasy and science fiction, as those are the genres I tend to prefer to read. (Not to say other genres won’t ever appear on these lists – it just isn’t super likely; it’s likely to be a very rare occurrence if it happens at all.)

If you’ve seen this post by me before, you know the drill; I’m only interested in these books – there’s no guarantee that I’m gonna read all of them. There’s not even a guarantee that I’m gonna read even half of them. We shall see. Anyway, let’s get going! This month there are only three books that have caught my eye. A bit of a step down from last month, but most months aren’t like that anyway, haha.

RELEASING: October 7th

A teen girl with the power of resurrection must venture into the afterlife, but to survive the death realm, she’ll need the help of her two mortal enemies–both of whom she is inexplicably drawn to–in this romantic, gothic fantasy inspired by Wuthering Heights.

When Jia Yi finds herself alive again after being killed by an enemy’s sword, she realizes she possesses a rare power: the ability to move between life and death. With her new gift comes the discovery of a mysterious spirit realm teeming with ghosts like herself—and Lin, the boy she once loved before his betrayal tore them apart.

At first Jia wants nothing to do with any ghosts, metaphorical or otherwise. But when her beloved grandmother dies under suspicious circumstances, Jia is forced to follow in an attempt to save her.

In the death realm, though, even ghosts have ghosts. The afterlife is more complex than Jia ever could have imagined—and no one knows what lies at its end. To survive, Jia must rely on both Lin and her longtime enemy, the cold and enigmatic Prince Essien. The problem? She can’t trust either of them.

With tensions high and new and old connections blossoming, Jia must confront the ghosts of her past . . . or risk remaining a ghost herself.

RELEASING: October 14th

A wannabe witch tries to break a curse on a clueless client in this laugh-out-loud debut for fans of queer fantasy like TJ Klune and Tamsyn Muir.

Mateo Borrero has ninety-nine problems, and all of them hinge on the fact that his terrifying and currently-missing bruja mother trapped a demon in his body when he was born. His mother forbade him from ever using magic, but now that she’s gone, magic’s his only marketable skill, and he’d really like an exorcism—which costs money he doesn’t have. What’s the harm in making a quick buck by calling himself an Occult Specialist and chanting a few half-remembered spells in his crappy Spanish?

Enter Topher, a naive nepo baby with a curse that keeps killing people around him. Most importantly, he’s rich, and too clueless to clock that Mateo–and his (absolutely-not-the-assistant) astral-projecting best friend Ophelia–have never actually had a client before. Lifting Topher’s bad luck curse should be simple, but as luck would have it, nothing is simple, and Topher–who Mateo sort of, kind of likes–might be at the center of a deadly magical conspiracy.

To make matters worse, the more magic Mateo does, the stronger the demon inside him grows and the more he wants to eat people. But would caving to the urges of an ancient evil really be that bad if it helps him get a payday?

Legends and Lattes meets A Grim Reaper’s Guide to Catching a Killer in this hilarious and charming contemporary fantasy readers won’t want to miss.

RELEASING: October 28th

From Alix E. Harrow, the New York Times bestselling author of Starling House, comes a moving and genre-defying quest about the lady-knight whose legend built a nation, and the cowardly historian sent back through time to make sure she plays her part–even if it breaks his heart.

Sir Una Everlasting was Dominion’s greatest hero: the orphaned girl who became a knight, who died for queen and country. Her legend lives on in songs and stories, in children’s books and recruiting posters—but her life as it truly happened has been forgotten.

Centuries later, Owen Mallory—failed soldier, struggling scholar—falls in love with the tale of Una Everlasting. Her story takes him to war, to the archives—and then into the past itself. Una and Owen are tangled together in time, bound to retell the same story over and over again, no matter what it costs.

But that story always ends the same way. If they want to rewrite Una’s legend—if they want to tell a different story–they’ll have to rewrite history itself.

So yeah, these are all of the books releasing in October 2025 that I’m at least a little interested in. What books are coming out soon that you’re looking forward to? Do we share some of the same ones?

As always, thank you all so much for reading, and I hope you have a great day/night!

See ya ~Mar

Weekly Wrap-Up: 9/22 – 9/28

Yeah… So this is late. Ugh. This week has been a little rough for me, and the end of last week was kind of the same. There’s just been some stuff going on in my life lately, and even though I still have the time to do blog stuff, my mental health has been struggling. Just a little bit. So please bear with me and my somewhat sparser posting for now.

As I just alluded to, I didn’t post that much last week – only twice. And I haven’t implied anything about what I’ve read concerning books, but it’s also very infrequent, and in regards to last week, nonexistent. I’m already feeling a bit better (hence posting this Weekly Wrap-Up), so hopefully the rest of this week and next week will be better.

Anyway, without further ado, let’s get on with the Weekly Wrap-Up!

Wednesday 9/24: Can’t-Wait Wednesday

Last Wednesday, I did another Can’t-Wait Wednesday. Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme currently hosted by Tressa @ Wishful Endings. It focuses on books you’re looking forward to reading, usually new releases.

Friday 9/26: Birthstone Book Covers

On Friday, I participated in Birthstone Book Covers. Birthstone Book Covers is a fun little post created and hosted by Leslie @ Books Are the New Black.

Each month, for the post, you feature book covers that are either the same color of the month’s birthstone or include the color in the title. This month was September, and its birthstone is sapphire. So the color of the month was blue.

Books I Read Last Week

Wrapping It All Up

So yeah, the end of last week and the beginning of this week have been a little bit difficult for me. I’m feeling somewhat better though, as I said, so I’m up for blogging a bit this week. I’m also up for reading books again – I’ve got one cued up and ready to go for tomorrow.

Speaking of reading novels, the one that I’m pretty sure I’m gonna read next is A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro, which is something that’s been on my To Be Read List for quite some time now. Then, I’m planning on finally reading The Ashfire King by Chelsea Abdullah, which was one of my most anticipated new books (and sequels) of 2025. I got it the day it came out and just didn’t end up reading it then for some reason. I dunno guys.

After that, things are a little but more nebulous, but I really want to get back to reading at least a few more of the books in the Dresden Files. And hopefully I’ll be able to start within the next week (after finishing the two books above). After that, maybe a new release or something? I’m not sure yet. I also want to continue on with the next arc of One Piece soon – I’m hoping to be able to begin this before the end of the month, but we’ll see. All my other reading takes priority; I might not get to it until next month.

Regarding posts this week… Well, it’s almost over, so I don’t think I’ll be doing more than two or possibly three. I’m definitely going to do my anticipated new books for October 2025, but I’m less sure about what other post (or posts) I might do. It’s been a while since I’ve done a Bewitching Book Covers, so maybe that one as well. Perhaps I’ll start uploading my Dresden File book reviews before the week is out, too. Who knows what else, though.

For stuff outside books and the blog, there really hasn’t been a lot going on, aside from the personal stuff that I don’t really want to get into. My spouse and I are still trying to be healthier, I guess, but in light of the personal stuff, it’s admittedly taking a slight backseat for now. I want to get back into healthier habits soon, however.

Anyway, as always thank you for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful day/night! As well as a much better week than I’ve been having!

Can’t-Wait Wednesday: The Shocking Experiments of Miss Mary Bennet

Happy Wednesday! It’s officially a streak with this post now!

The Shocking Experiments of Miss Mary Bennet by Melinda Taub! ⚡🧪

I loved The Scandalous Confessions of Lydia Bennet, Witch when I read it two years ago, and now Melinda Taub has another novel set in the same universe focusing on another Bennet sister. Of course it’s going on my potential TBR. (I just have so many books on my To Be Read List guys – I don’t know when and if I’m gonna get to some of these novels.)

The Shocking Experiments of Miss Mary Bennet by Melinda Taub

The Shocking Experiments of Miss Mary Bennet by Melinda Taub

LENGTH: 320 pages

GENRES: Fantasy, Historical, Fiction

PUBLISHER: Amulet Books

RELEASE DATE: 30 September 2025

An utterly fantastical and undeniably queer melding of Pride and Prejudice and Frankenstein that recasts Mary Bennet as an insatiable scientist, one who creates a monster in an attempt to save herself from spinsterdom

Mary Bennet is the middlest middle child of all time. Awkward, plain, and overlooked, she’s long been out of favor not only with her own family but with generations of readers of Pride and Prejudice.

But what was Mary really doing while her sisters were falling in love? Well, what does any bright, intrepid girl do in an age when brains and hard work are only valued if they come with a pretty face? Take to the attic and teach herself to reanimate the dead of course. The world refuses to make a place for peculiar Mary, but no Bennet sister ever gives up on happiness that easily. If it won’t give this fierce, lonely girl a place, she’ll carve one out herself. And if finding acceptance requires a husband, she’ll get one. Even if she has to make him herself, too.

However, Mary’s genius and determination aren’t enough to control what she unwittingly unleashes. Her desperate attempts to rein in the destruction wreaked by her creations leads her to forge a perhaps unlikely friendship with another brilliant young woman unlike any she’s ever known. As that friendship blossoms into something passionate and all-consuming, Mary begins to realize that she may have to choose between the acceptance she’s always fought for and true happiness.

Are you looking forward to The Shocking Experiments of Miss Mary Bennet? What other books are coming out in the next few weeks that you’re looking forward to?

As always, thank you all so much for reading and have a fantastic day/night!

Monthly Wrap-Up: August Reading 2025

It’s later than I wanted to, but I’m finally posting my reading wrap-up from last month. Things were unfortunately a bit busy during the beginning of this month, so everything has been pushed back a little bit. Anyway, here it is: my reading wrap-up for August 2025!

So August’s reading was kind of terrible, similar to several months of this year preceding it. I don’t think it was the worst of the year, but it was definitely bad.

Anyway, let’s just start talking about my StoryGraph statistics from last month!

August Reading 2025

I read 1 book and 810 pages

😐 MOODS: I had three Moods in August, which is the same as the month before. The Moods from this past month were also the same as the month before: AdventurousLighthearted and Funny.

👢 PACE: The book I read last month was medium-paced.

⭐ RATING: My median star rating for last month was 4.0, which makes sense as I only read one book and that was the rating I gave it.

📉 PAGES READ DAILY: My reading during August, as I’ve mentioned before, was not great. I read a little bit earlier in the month on the 9th and the 10th, but I really got my reading done closer to the end of the month, on the 21st, 22nd she 23rd.

Wrapping Up the Wrap-Up

So yeah, my reading once again sucked last month. Ugh, this year annoys me so much, in regards to reading novels and stuff. It’s also the worst slump I’ve ever had, by far, as it’s lasted several months. I just want it to end and to get back into books again. I guess hoping that September turns out better is all I can really hope for. Oh well.

For this current month, I’m definitely gonna finish the One Piece arc that I started last month. Primarily because it’s short – it’s only two volumes and I’ve already read one of them. I’m also hoping to read at least a couple of other books as well. We’ll see what happens.

Anyway, as always, thank you for joining me in checking out my StoryGraph stats for my August reading in 2025. Thank you also for reading, and I hope you have a great day/night!
